READcycle started at North Hillsborough School in California in 2025 to recycle books, raise funds, and inspire reading. And it broke our student council fundraising record!

Can any school participate?

Yes, any elementary school can do their own READcycle fundraiser, to encourage kids to read more, and reduce screen time, while raising money in a sustainable way.

How do I start a fundraiser?

Your school raises money by selling donated books, supporting reading and sustainability.

What kind of books are accepted?

Up to you! Gently used books suitable for any age elementary readers do well, especially older grade-levels.
